![]() ![]() When I view it as an evolutionary phase, then it definitely helps make it more interesting. ![]() but I always envisioned a humanoid or other form of alien race being responsible for Necromorphs. I really loved the idea of sentient, organic spaceships from Mass Effect's Reapers and Leviathan. I guess ultimately what disappoints me about the Brethren Moons is their form. ![]() The impression I got from Dead Space 1 was always that the Marker was created by some alien race - and yes, it's the Brethren Moons - but not through an indoctrinated, sentient species like Humans. I'm very much on the fence about them in the story. BUT if there is one, technically it still is a fourth entry, though through the remake iteration of the universe, which is sort of a catch 22. BUT if there IS a continuation of the story (which would only make sense) then that puts Dead Space in a unique position. Given they're likely remaking all three games, how will they approach the games from the third, onwards? VERY reworked story? Opening up a clear possibility for a 4th or more Dead Space games? I find a remake very interesting for Dead Space in particular because we never saw a continuation of the story. How did it come to exist in the first place? Also, is it just a plothole of sorts with Dr Kleiner (w/e his name was) saying returning the Marker will make the Hive Mind dormant? Didn't the Market just want Isaac to return it to the pedestal to start a Convergence Event?Īnd finally. This Hive Mind creature was dormant for a really long time on Aegis VII? I don't get it. The pathogen mutates and creates dead things which create more dead things. Necromorphs are created through the Marker, essentially. The folks on Aegis VII "awakened" it? Wha? I never quite understood that. I just had some questions about the first game. ![]() Played 1 and 2 back on PC, gonna play all 3 now. I'm just waiting for Dead Space 1 to arrive in the mail. ![]()
